it was Boo. When Ms. Dubose died, but Scout found out that she was at one time addicted to morphine. Ms. Dubose promised herself that she would get off of morphine before she died. Before Tom Robinson, Scout, Jem and Dill sneak out of house because they wanted to see what Atticus was doing.
When a mob showed up to hang Tom Robinson, she faced the mob. She made the mob
feel guilty.
She also saw Tom Robinsons trial. She was in the court room and heard everything and learned about the rape and beatings. She saw a innocent man get convicted.
All of these things changed Scout because she learned about the what really happens because of race, poverty, ideas of blacks and whites. She had to grow up fast. What she saw
made her think more about the world around her. Scout became a more kind person
who understood those around her.
